NetWatch transforms the thinking behind video surveillance. This new technology enables existing IT infrastructure to be employed as the recording and transmission medium for digital CCTV surveillance, giving a minimum installation cost solution. The system enables any PC on a LAN to become a remote video capture unit by converting the video signal from a local camera to video data. The data may be then recorded and / or distributed over a LAN or WAN. You may even monitor the security of your offices from the comfort of your home via a direct dial up connection. Any office or corridor can be monitored from any other office or any security post. Patrolling security personnel can access real time or recorded video whilst at any LAN connected PC.
